Kelly Nicholas
Kelly is co-owner of Change it Up Training. After severing her second ACL playing netball in 2013, she had to hang up the boots and find another passion. She has always had a burning desire to be part of the fitness industry which stemmed from her completion of a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement back in 2002. Despite the fulfilment this gave her, she became fascinated with the idea of pre-hospital medicine and so then completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Paramedicine. She has now been working as a Paramedic with Ambulance Victoria for almost 15 years but has had the exceptional opportunity to also work as a group fitness instructor for the past 5 years. Kelly has evolved her competencies within the fitness industry and now has the following qualifications:
-Metafit Instructor
-Metapwr instructor
-Metapro Instructor
-HIITstep Instructor
-Vinyasa yoga flow qualified
-KettlebellAMPD trainer
-Numerous kit based courses including, suspension training, power bag training and battle rope training.
Kelly feels enormously grateful to live in the Macedon Ranges with her husband and 2 children, Olivia and Harry. She enjoys being part of the community and encouraging men, women and children to enjoy an active and balanced lifestyle. Her approach to life encompasses moderation, having perspective and optimism in order to be the best version of herself.
